I am 60 and just dx with osteoporosis in the neck and spine. Spine: T= -2.9, hip is only T= -1.8 My mom had a bilateral mastectomy at age 47. She is 85 now. My doctor wanted to put me on Evista. I asked about Fosamax, I was told I could go on either or both. I am confused.

Hello: My anckle is hurting everytime I start to walk. It feels like it does not have the strenght to hold the step, but it goes away while walking. What could it possible be? the muscle weakness or bone loss or what? I have never had any problems like fractures or anything. thanks for your help.
