Brief Answer:
There are no specific test

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again and thanks for trusting to us.

First
there are no specific tests to confirm that is cellulitis and the cause of it ,but from your symptoms and examinations more likely it seems as cellulitis.
Most common causes are streptococus and staphilococus ,and your treatment is for both of them.
There are blood tests that can confirm the cause of cellulitis but the blood should be taken when is febrile condition.
The gold examination is laparoscopy, doctor confirm with naked eye if it is cellulitis or not.
Second
Don't worry for the treatment you are doing but please add more vitamins rich foods ,especially with vitamin C.
They help your immune system.
Third
There are no chances of it turning into a malignant form.
And in the end ,while you are on A/B(antibiotics) therapy you haven't chances to have sepsis.
Be calm .

Hi mam.
Thanks for the detailed reply.
I consulted a general surgeon and a infectious disease specialist yesterday
In surgeon opinion after seeing my mri nd ultrasound reports has prescribed me again some medications.
Flucort ointment chymoral forte tds tayo 60k once weekly and tab nurokind and folic acid with one test oc cect abdomen and barium meal through follow

As per infectious disease specialist he suggested for fnac and montoux test to start att or not

Now keeping in view of my health condition and allergic problem is montox test and ce ct safe for me as i m already in healing phase and last year before pregnany i also got cect done..aftr getting that done i had allergy and severe shivering for a day.is it safe in teems of radiation during my healing process

Is ct plain helpful in detection of bowel obstruction or tb..or should i go for 3rd mri

How is fnac done and what are the chances of side effects of this procedure

Can an allergic asthmatic can get mantoux done ,

And what if all these test came negative and still i need to go for empirical att.my gynae said that they follow an empirical att approach to women of i fertility too.is that true mam . I dnt want go fora laproscopy as i m scared ofany further surgeries and their complications post op becaz of these xonsequences

And despitetakingso many medicinesas llist attached ,should i gollow a surgeon prescribed medicine for a week and see if that works, becaz wen i was on zinase d last 15 daysback my track was reduced from 27mm to 14 mm.,had it been tubecular shuld it have been reduced like this

Should i really go for empirical att directlyfor a trial of 2 to 4 weeks..will it be safe for long period of lifetime.in terms of its resitance and reoccurence

I was given amikacin pipzo and orni wen i was admitted .are these also drugs of tb.i read it on net and found them as a second line of treatment.why i was not given ist line
.Pls guide in a detailed manner

Brief Answer:
Take medicines prescribed from surgeon

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again and thanks for trusting to us.
I understand your concern but please be calm.
First
Take those medicines prescribed from surgeon because the may have good effect in your case.
All these medications are very useful in your situation.
Second
As my opinion wait until you will end therapy that have given surgeon.
If you will feel better contact again with this doctor if you will need for more therapy.
If the situation will be the same than follow advice of infectious specialist to do FNAC and Mantoux test .
FNAC is a simple procedure ,the skin above the area to be biopsied is swabbed with an antiseptic solution and draped with sterile surgical towels. The skin, underlying fat, and muscle may be numbed with a local anesthetic. After locating the mass for biopsy, using x-rays , a special needle of very fine diameter is passed into the mass.
After the needles are placed into the mass, cells are withdrawn by aspiration with a syringe and spread on a glass slide. The patient's vital signs are taken again, and the patient is removed to an observation area for about 3 to 5 hours.
Side effects are very rare and they aren't serious,so don't be afraid .

Mantoux can be done at persons who suffer from allergic bronchitis, but if you have had an allergic reaction after one application of Mantoux you should emphasize this to the person who will make the application of Mnatoux because at the second time reaction from Mantoux may more sever.
If both tests will be negative you will not need to take empirical ATT ,as my opinion.
Third
If the doctor suggest to you CECT because is a very useful to highlight specific tissues and parts of the body, in my opinion you should do first FNAC and Mantoux .
If they have a non-conclusive result for a specific cause like (TBC or cellullitis) I would suggest you do CECT.
CECT is more specific for small inflammator lesions than MRI.
Fifth
They have given to you those Antibiotics because they are very effective as per celullitis and for TBC infection.
Don"t worry for the therapy you have done while you are feeling better and the track is reduced .

All the best

Brief Answer:
Explanation is given below

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again and sorry for answering so later .

Don't worry so much because if you will start to use ATT they have good effect if they will be used in a correct way by you .
Side effects aren't serious if you will follow -up with basal levels of transaminases and bilirubin and a complete blood count twice a week in the first 2 weeks, weekly in the following 2 weeks and 2 times during the second month of initial therapy unless no findings or symptoms of hepatitis will not observed.

ATT have no negative effect in other disease on the future.

ATT is used only for tuberculosis ,and chances to become resistant are very small
to you while you haven't used often them .

ATT is given in the infertile women who suffer from Tuberculosis infection.

Low ESR doesn't mean that you haven't infection.

Please tell me first value of CRP,it is increased and show that is an infection, but it should compared with the first values ,while you are on medication.

For the ayurveda treatment I have no knowledge ,but for my opinion don't use with other treatment you are on.

Best regards

Brief Answer:
You can do CECT

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again.

I will try to give explain all of your answers given above by you.

If your follow-up doctor judge that CECT is a useful examination that you have to do,do not hesitate ,because it isn't k/indicated for the patient that are status post C/S .

In practice CECT can be done if we see that this method can help us for making a diagnose .

For this issue you can discuss with your follow-up asthmatic doctor because you may need paramedication before this procedure.
A type of medicine called a steroid is most often used for premedication.
This form of paramedication is done in patient with current, active asthma symptoms.

A computed tomography (CT) scan that uses iodinated contrast.
Hence this contrast doesn't interact with the process of healing.

As CT scan and CECT use X-ray beams, which is a form of a radiation.

As I have explained above CECT is a very useful to highlight specific tissues and parts of the body as for tubercular track and adhesions.

11mg/dl is within normal range.

Brief Answer:
Contrast MRI is than Contrast CT

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear! Thanks for trusting us.

MRI with oral or i/v contrast is better for you because :

1.Much higher soft tissue detail as compared to CT scan. One of the greatest advantages of MRI is the ability to change the contrast of the images. Different contrast settings will highlight different types of tissue,as per tubercular track and adhesions.

2.Very rare allergic reaction. Contrast agents are used in MRI are not made of iodine. There are fewer documented cases of reactions to MRI contrast and it is considered to be safer than X-ray dyes.Contrast agents for MRI are those which have paramagnetic properties. One example is gadolinium.

3.A CAT scan uses X rays to build up a picture. MRI uses a magnetic field to do the same and has no known side effects related to radiation exposure. It is very important while you have had another two CT scans.

Hence it's better to do an MRI.

As per all the reports you have brought to my site, as per my opinion BLOOD TEST AND ALL THE TESTS are very good except CRP, which is decreased form 7 to 5 , and is a good sign too.
Since the ultrasound has reported a lesion, you'd better have an MRI with contrast.

As per my opinion a Mantoux test can be done on the same day, but after you have done an MRI scan.

All the best!
