Hello doctor..

I've had certain partners in the last year till last week ( three women and two TSs ) that happened in different periods of time. All of my sexual relationships were protected by condoms. However, I've given and gotten oral sex with some of them. Even thought, I haven't had or felt any symptoms so far, I decided today to check up just to make sure. I did check up and I'm HIV negative, but the other STD infections' results, included Hepatitis B and C will be known in 7 to 10 days. So my question is/ Can I get any STD infections or any type of Hepatitis while I'm an HIV negative?
I know that everyone could say with full confidence just wait till you receive the results except you doctor because you're the only one who is informed about how this wait is extremely harsh.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for writing to us.

With protected penetrative exposures and unprotected oral sexual intercourse the possibility of HIV, Hepatitis and other STDs are rare. So far, you had no symptoms of STD in the form of ulcers, sore throat or vesicles, so you need not worry about Major STDs.

Type A usually clears itself and does not cause

Hi Doctor, I have very recently had blood tests done, was told that my GammaGT is at 320, normal is around 60. I am a type 2 diabetic and take Glucophage 1000.i am also on blood pressure tablets " Ravamil". I do enjoy an occasional beer, no more than 3 per week. I am active I play squash twice a week and I play golf. I have had hepatitis many heard ago about 30 years back. Would this be a factor? Look forward to your responce.
Many thanks
Thanks for choosing HCM
Diabetes , alcohol and liver disease can cause high levels of GGT. Hepatitis 30 years back is not a cause for this now. Have a vegan diet with low fat and stop alcohol for a period of three weeks. You can also start taking udiliv once daily. Then repeat GGT if its still...

Your reports are saying some HEPATITIS is there( elevated liver enzymes).

Hepatitis may itself cause weakness, but what is the cause of hepatitis?

I think you should undergo some more test like serum bilirubin, viral markes for hepatitis and renal function test to rule out renal dysfunction....
