1. You haven't told about the MODE of Transmission by which you get infected, because it is not transmitted by Sexual Intercourse (very rare)
2.your place of origin, because more than 80% patients with HCV in India are due to blood transfusion or hemodialysis.
3. you haven't mentioned about the symptoms??
4. even is the virus is removed from the blood, "sustained virologic response" will be there.
5. It will end either with Cirrhosis of Liver or Liver CA.
6. No Vaccination is available till date, and because we are measuring viral load in the blood and not in the liver cells thus HCV viral load doesn't tell you anything that how fast hepatitis is progressing.
7. Avoid spicy, oily, heavy food, take sweet, bitter vegetables and ripe fruits, Pranayam breathing is helpful.
8. In Ayurveda we have three classes of drugs:
i. Anti-viral of which Bhoomyamalaki (Phyllanthus nirurii) and Kutki (Picrorrhiza kurroa) are best
ii. Hepato protective of which Bhringraj (Eclipta alba) and Ghritkumari (Aloe vera) are best.
iii. Liver Detoxifying of which chirayata (Swertia chirata) is best, you can consult an Ayurveda Physician there for the same.

Hello!

Standard treatment available for HCV is pegylated interferon and ribavirin therapy either alone or in combination. If single therapy with interferon does not help then combination with ribavirin can used.

After starting on combination therapy if there is no virological improvement in 2-3 months then further chances of improvement are less.

Severity of HCV infection depends upon serological type of virus also. Serotypes 1 has better response than 2 and 3.

Liver transplantation is the next option for you but still there are chances of recurrence in some patients.

Alternative therapy like ayurvedic medicines can give symptomatic relief up to some extent but there is no effect on long term prognosis or improvement in liver function. There is no cure for HCV with any alternative medicines available till date.

Hope you got adequate information. If more queries, you can write to us.

Wish you good health.

Any such Liver related viral activities there is only one medicine found to be effective.. That is (Phyllanthus Niruri) Sanskrit - bhoomyamalaki( Malayalam - Keezharnelli),get the plant whole and grind with cow's milk(if available) and eat in empty stomach...do this for about 6 months.
avoid Oil, baked foods, masala & spicy food, re cooked foods, milk products.do this for the said period and check your blood.

Homeopath Dr. Dhara Shah's  Response
hi welcome to hcm.see you had infection such a long time usually in early stage its asymptomatic but in chronic infection symptoms are weakness
loss of appetite
rash
difficulty in clotting of blood
spider like blood vessels
muscle ache yellowness of skin
and more progress to liver damage and cirrohosis.
so first you should avoid drink.and you had such a high amount of virus so homoeopathy may help in incerase your immunity but for complete cure you should take second opinion from surgeon.
thanks
