HI, my son has congestion problems since his birth. he couldnot latch on because he was low birth weight baby, but was not premature. it was very difficult for him to sleep and and sometimes ,to ingest milk (cow and gate, formula milk) due to his congestion. so we consulted a doctor and he suggested to give him ZATOFEN, an anti allergy medicines for six weeks. he is one and a half months old and i have been giving him the medicine for 4 weeks now. I also consulted other doctors and they said to stop the medicine as it should not be given to the children under 6 months of age. what should i do?

Hi,
yes true! We would not like to give this drug at this age.
Better to find out what is the cause of problem.
check for patency of nostrils and blocked nose which can cause this.
may be some simple normal saline nose drops will work!!!
Good luck

My eosinophils are at 2260 or 31%. For the past 3 weeks I have been experiencing an intermittent almost burning sensation just above the navel and sometimes in the lower left pelvic region. About a week and a half ago my belly became distended and I also have a swollen area just above the navel that was never there before. Pepto Bismal and Tums do nothing. My nurse practitioner prescribed Omeprazole but I do not think that will do anything. I also had an abdominal X-ray series done but that showed nothing significant. I am uncomfortable, my clothes are tight, and find myself eating less because I feel full quickly. I have lost about 5 pounds or so. What could this be? I know the eosinophils are very high but could that also cause the bloated belly? How can this be resolved?

hello. You require further evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So you have mainly two concerns: high eospinophil counts and pain plus bloated abdomen. So the causes of high eosinophil counts are usually parasitic infestation of intestines or some...

I am a fair skin caucassian from XXXXXXX visiting Hawaii. Our first day I got sunburn, and the second day we were out on a boat for 5 hours. I used SPF 50 but the next morning I woke up and had a swollen face and lower lip. Today it seems the forehead is less swollen but now I look Asian. Is this an allergic reaction (no known allergies) or changing affects of sunburn?Could this be an adverse effect of sea water?
I am waiting for a response. I did not see any emails with solutions. Please call 0000

Dear Doctor,
both my sons, aged 5 and 7 years old developed some pimples and swelling in their legs and above their feet yesterday morning.
I took them to pharmacy and the pharmacist told me it's probably an allergy or an insect bite. so they prescribed me aerius antihistamine 0.5mg/ml to give them once at night.
I gave them last night and today the older son who is 7 years old developed a blister on the leg.
What do you think this is and what should i do about it ?
I sent you pictures to show you the pimples and the swelling on their feet and last picture is the blister that my elder son developed today.

I'm waiting for his immunity to kick in & fight the germs themselves. Should I do this or it is not advisable?
