I have a question concerning dry skin on my labia majora. I noticed that I was itchy and noticed dry, white flakes falling off when I would scratch. I took a shower today and used hypoallergenic soap. I put the same type of lotion on as well. A few hours later, I noticed it was itchy and came back. I do not have a yeast infection. I have not had sexual intercourse . I haven't done anything differently and I am not taking any new medications. What could this be? I am not having any problems inside but outer vagina has been itchy with flaking. Oh, I do not have any sores or bumps inside my vagina. My discharge is normal color and no odd smell. Just itching and flaking on the outside. Thank you for your time!
