What Causes Itching And Irritation Around My Vulva?

I have irritation and itch around my vulva thn t will not go away. I have tried several creams over the past 3 months, but it never heals completely. My gynae recommended Quadriderm for the area just above or outside the vulva. CaoI use it on the oitside of my vulva too?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If it is not associated with any white discharge. Quadriceps should relieve the itching and irritation around vulva. It seems to be due to excessive sweating. Cultivate a habit to keep the area dry and sweat free or have frequent washes to be followed by drying and dusting with Candid talcum powder. Use cotton undergarment to avoid more sweating. Also change it when wet.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
