Brief Answer:
Methylcobalamine supplementation could help.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I can see that you have gone through many things. However, peripheral neuropathy causing tingling and numbness ccould occur due to deficiency of a B vitamin called methylcobalamine. Taking Methylcobalamine 1500 mcg once daily for at least a couple of weeks should provide relief.

I do not think that cannabis would help. You can take xanax or ambien for anxiety relief but that would not directly help with the peripheral neuropathy. I would insist you to try relaxation techniques. You can breathe in slowly for 6 secconds, hold the breath for 7 seconds and them exhale it over 8 seconds, then reapeat it again. Gradually you would grow relaxed and would fall asleep. You can try yoga and meditation. Although Diphenhydramine or other antihistaminics like benadryl or cetirizine have sleep inducing effects, I doubt if those would be quite helpful. Nevertheless these are the best over the counter solutions. Zolpidem is a very effective sleep medication but is a prescription medicine.

There could also be a nerve compression involved in which physical therapy can help.

Feel free to write back.

Brief Answer:
Vitamin B12

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Methylcobalamin is Vitamin B12 and is available over the counter. I hope that you are referring to that. It is good to know that you do not have diabetes. I would however insist you to take a regular brisk walk preferably in the morning. Be sure to use soft soled (preferably with silicone gel padding) shoes. You can get your feet examined to identify if there are corns and callus formations.
