default
Posted on Mon, 28 Jul 2014
Question: I am 41 years old. I take 10mgs of prescribed adderrall 1x daily mon-fri.
I also take Test replacement therapy and one baby aspirin.
My blood work is fine, I workout with weights and cardio 3x per week.
My question is can I take the two AAS and adderrall together or am I setting myself up for a stroke or heart attack? My dosages are low and I feel I may be over thinking this.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Fish oil 2x per day
Multi 1x per day
Organic Apple cider vinegar 1x per day

Brief Answer:
Yes,you can use these drugs together.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

You can use Aspirin,Adderall and Testosterone replacement therapy together. It is safe because they don't have any interactions with each other.
This combination doesn't increase the risk for cardiovascular events such as heart attack or stroke.
Low dose of aspirin has a protective effect ,inhibiting thrombus formation and in this way lowering the chances for stroke or heart attack.

In general, hormone replacement therapy is safe and doesn't increase the risk for stroke and heart attack.

Adderall contains a combination of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, which are central nervous system stimulants.
It increase slightly the risk for heart disease, mostly in persons with other risk factors for heart disease.

As you can see,in this combination (TRT,Aspirin,Adderall) only adderall might increase the risk for cardiovascular disease but since you have no other risk factors (including Diabetes,High lipids in blood, High blood pressure) and you maintain a healthy life style by exercising a lot,I can tell that your risk for cardiovascular diseases (including stroke and heart attack) is the same with the risk of individuals who don't use these drugs.

You have nothing to worry about just keep living healthy (exercise a lot, drink plenty of fluids, eat healthy foods) and do regular check- up's with your treating doctor.

Hope my answer has helped.
Let me know if you have any additional question,I will be happy to help.

Take care

Good morning.

I am taking 60 mgs of anavar daily. Plus 300 mgs of Testosterone Propionate, a small ester fast acting testosterone weekly. I only plan to run this cycle for 12 weeks. At that point I will run Clomid and HCG.

I realize you said these drugs do not interact with with each other however I just want to be sure I'm not being increasing my chances of a heart attack or stroke by adding my 10mgs of prescribed adderrall for my ADD.

I also take fish oil 2x per day
Exercise 4x per week
And also consume 40mgs of fiber daily
1 gallon of water each day

Family history has had heart issues however brought on from heavy abuse of smoking and alchohol. So no issues.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Brief Answer:
You can take these drugs for 12 weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

I understand your concern.

As I said in the first reply, these drugs don't interact with each other so you can take them together.
From the above drugs only Adderall might increase slightly the risk for cardiovascular disease and this risk is to be taken in consideration if you have other risk factors for heart disease as I mentioned above (diabetes, high blood pressure, high lipidic profile, sedentary life ).
Since you don't have any of these risk factors and you maintain a healthy life style by exercising a lot,I can tell that your risk for cardiovascular diseases is not being increased by adding Adderall in your therapy.

You can take these drugs together and don't worry.
Just follow the directions of your treating doctor and take these drugs in the way he prescribed them.

Hope it answered your query.
Let me know if you have any further question.
Take care.

Hi Doc,

Can I take Tamoxifen for a few days at 20mgs. My right nipple is sore from test. Also, can I safely take tamoxifen with adderrall 8mgs? I only plan on using tamoxifen for a week or two XXXXXXX I jumped up to quickly on my test levels which I feel caused the soreness. Also, I plan on still taking a baby aspirin daily.

My blood pressure on adderall and test plus anavar is 117/83

Please let me know your thoughts:)

Brief Answer:
You can use these drugs together.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Hope you are doing well.

There are no known interactions between these drugs so you can use them together.

Tamoxifen is used to treat breast cancer and to prevent breast cancer.
It may be used to treat mastalgia (breast pain) but it should be used under a direction of a physician. It has many side effects and should be used only as indicated.

So if your doctor has indicated it,you can use it as directed ,otherwise it would be prudent if you first consult a physician for your nipple soreness before taking it on your own.

Your blood pressure is normal.Don't need to worry.

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you have any further question of doubt to clarify.I will be happy to help.

Take care!
