Hi,

As, you say that you are suffering from sarcoidosis stage first of disease. Some times, if the symptoms are not there, then you may require no treatment, as in many cases, the disease, has normal periods of remission, even without any specific treatment. A slight change in the level of ACE level is very much normal, hence a change of level from 162 to 130, may not be significant.

Otherwise, also, besides steroids, there may be other treatment regimes like other immuno-suppressants like Methotrexate, Azathioprine etc., hydroxychloroquine, TNF-alfa inhibitor etc. are some of the treatments, which are strictly to be taken under guidance of your doctor.

Besides this, treatment depending on your symptoms or complications like physical therapy to reduce fatigue, to improve muscle strength or pulmonary rehabilitation with lung exercises to decrease respiratory symptoms may be done for a more comfortable and healthy life.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
