Headaches, Neck Pain, Tingling In Fingers, Pain In Arms. MRI Scan Done. What Does The Result Indicate?

The results of my MRI state that there is straightening of the sagittal alignment of the cervical spine. There is mild disc desiccation demonstrated at c5-c6 and c6-c7 without narrowing. There is minimal right central disc osteophyte which minimally flattens the anterior thecal sac at c5-c6 and c6-c7. Would this make sense as to the unbelievable headaches, neck pain, tingling in my fingers and pain in my arms along with loss of strength? It seems like it might be a good report but I don't understand it so can you explain?

Your MRI shows a degenerative drying of the inter-vertebral disc at the C5-6 and 6-7 levels.
There is an osteophyte (abnormal bony outgrowth) at the Cervical (neck) 5-6, 6-7 levels which is compressing the thecal sac (the coverings of the spinal cord).

These are spondylotic changes. This pressure on the spinal nerves can give rise to all your symptoms.

You need to get well evaluated by a spine/ ortho expert to avoid complications.
