Could Sore Neck And Breathlessness Be Side Effects Of Nurofen?

I am 48yr old female i have a really sore neck, have had it for about 1 month, I hurts to turn it to the side. I am also very breathless and now have minor cold symptons. I do take 1800 mgs Nurofen each day for back ache and have done for at least a year is it possible that this is side effects?

Hi,

Nurofen does not cause sore neck. However an allergic reaction to it might cause breathlessness. You should stop the medication and visit ER, get your vitals checked (especially oxygen saturation).
