Question: Hi Doctor,

I had a low grade fever 101.3-99% the weekend before last Saturday & Sunday but it went away on Monday so it was business as usual. Then this past Friday I got it again (99.3-101.7) it is now Tuesday night (going into 6 days) I also have a cough & chest pain & body aches. But I have also noticed a black spot appeared in the side of my mouth & some dark red/purple splotches on my right breast & soreness in my left armpit. Also hair loss, fatigue and sever joint pain to where I think my knee or wrist might break! I also have anemia & fibromyalgia. What do you think?
Thanks!

Brief Answer:
This could be a flu disease!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. reviewing them fully, they are suggestive of a flu. This is often caused by a virus and treatment consists in supportive care addressing your symptoms as they arise. generally, we would recommend Tylenol for sore muscles and fever related symptoms. Regular exercise, good diet and drinking much water and fruits would help with the healing process.

For now, I will suggest you try out these measures and only seek further aggressive medical intervention if something else comes up. Are you being treated for the fibromyalgia?

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
