You mean spicy foods not hit hot foods. I don't know if I'm diabetic it runs in my fathers family though.

I did eat Taco Bell and that burned my throat really really bad it took a good week for it to go away but then I started to feel this and it has been more that 5 months ago

And I had a bad infection in my tooth a root canal had to be done again in the same tooth so all this happened in Feb this year

Brief Answer:
Mucositis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
from the appearance and your symptoms it doesn't seem to be malignant at all. My advice is you should take the medicines as prescribed and if you still have any doubt, you should visit an ENT SPECIALIST and get a biopsy done.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Take care

Answered by Dr. Priyanka Aggarwal (8 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Mucositis

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

TMJ arthritis is characterised by pain on chewing not swallowing and the pain is usually referred to ear or neck.

Your symptoms don't point towards TMJ but a clinical examination is always the best way to rule out any diagnosis.

If you have any queries, feel free to contact me again.
I hope my advice is useful for you.

Thanks and regards
