Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Terbinafine is the better alternate of griseofulvin. Most of fungus getting resistance to griseofulvin except for scalp infection. Fungus infection other than scalp fungus is better treated with Terbinafine or Itraconazole.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yakub Ali, Internal Medicine Specialist
