What Causes Itching On The Feet?

Question: My toes on both feet are itching . It occurs 2-3 times a day for the last three days. I have tried athlete foot cream and now cortisone 10. The cream is only a quick fix and then it comes back. My blood counts are below scale and am working on increasing them. I am also very low in iron am taking B12 injections. Any ideas?

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. It could be due to either a fungal infection or an allergic reaction. Let me know if there is a visible change in the affected area. I would request you to upload image of the affected areas. It will help me to evaluate the condition. Taking some antiallergic like cetirizine or benadryl (or possibly better ones like fexofenadine or loratidine which are prescription medicines) should help. I would also insist you to apply Candid (clotrimazole) powder or lotion topically.

You should take methylcobalamine supplements (1500 mcg per day) [Vitamin B12] as well as iron supplements daily.
