Brief Answer:
Ultrasound scan required

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Trapic is not safe to be taken for years together.

2) I suggest you try to get diagnosis so as to why are you bleeding so heavily.

3) There is possibility of uterine fibroid or polyp being there.

4) Please get ultrasound scan done to diagnose if there is fibroid or polyp in uterus which is causing such bleeding.

5) I dont advice continuing Trapic MF forever ( you can feel the side effect like bloating of abdomen). Solution is needed for the problem on permanent basis.

I hope your doubt is clarified.

Let me know if you have any more queries.

Regards,

Dr. Soumya

I have already explained there is no abnormality in all the tests incl abdomen scan and all tests covered. so iam just thinking whether i have to wait for one more year when menopause will occur as i wil reach 52? only other solution docs say is hysterectomy, though there is no visible issue. answering this only will satisfy my query to you. I already had a dash of projesterone injection in XXXXXXX 2012 which sort of controlled bleeding for two yrs. I strongly feel novex has aggrevated it once again and can you plse tell me if itgets normalised or stop on its own? i dont have pain or nothing like that except for heavy bleeding for five days which iam not able to tolerate.
thanks

Brief Answer:
Progesterone injections are suitable option

Detailed Answer:
Hi

If all tests are normal and still you are bleeding, this is called dysfunctional uterine bleeding in medical terms.

Hysterectomy is best option if you are willing.

If you are not willing you will benefit by progesterone injections. Please continue the progesterone injections that you took earlier. These will stop bleeding and normalize.

Hi

Thank you for reports.

madam, by removing fibroid bleeding will stop permanently? dont i need to go for hysterectomy? If this is the case then why do all the docs i met said there is nothing abnormal in the report? they were only suggesting that its dysfuntional endrometrial bleeding which can be either fixed by ablation or hysterectomy. Iam now confused. plse advise. thanks

Brief Answer:
Removal of fibroid

Detailed Answer:
Hi

This is not dysfunctional uterine bleeding. It is a diagnosis if there is no other reason. Here there is a fibroid. You should get improvement by removal of fibroid. You can unde4go hysterectomy only if you dont mind uterus being removed so that there is no confusion of future.

As per these reports removal of fibroids is best.
