What is Dysfunctional uterine bleeding?

Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (DUB) is abnormal genital tract bleeding based in the uterus and found in the absence of demonstrable structural or organic pathology. It is usually due to hormonal disturbances:classified as ovulatory(10%) due to a possible endocrine dysfunction, resulting in menorrhagia or metrorrhagia. These are common symptoms seen in female patient when menstrual bleeding start without the schedule and bleeding continue for days.
