Brief Answer:
It's Sinusitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX .

Thanks for the follow up .

Your information is very useful in making diagnosis. I have 2 provisional diagnosis.

1. Migraine.
2. Sinusitis.

If I was your doctor I would have started treatment for sinusitis first and seen the response for the treatment. If there is no response then we can start migraine treatment.

Do steam inhalation every night. You can add eucalyptus oil or vicks vaporub to water and take steam from it . Drink hot water , avoid citrus fruits.
Ask your doctor for a prescription of xylometazoline nasal drops . Use it for a week . Do all this and see for response. If problem persists kindly revert back .

Any clarification feel free to ask . Happy to answer.
If no clarification kindly close the discussion and please rate my answer.

Hi Doctor,

Greetings !!

i visited the doctor here,

he checked by BP, Ear and asked certain question about vomiting, fever, headache, etc,

he also did blood test,

based on his diagnostics its not sinusitis...its normal thing he gave me Azithromycin tablet (1 in day before food) with Penadol,

he says lets see if the pain goes then ok or else we will do X-ray..

as i stated erlier that here not much medical facility available.

what should i do..
doctor
Answered by Dr. Divakara (6 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
No need of Azithromycin

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I don't think there is a necessity of azithromycin. You need to be started on nasal decongestants. Ask your doctor for the prescription as its a prescription drug.
You don't have any signs of infection for which azithromycin needs to be used.

Dear Doctor,

unfortunately here no body gives a prescription in writing, they diagnostic and give medicines,

that is the reason why people will avoid to visit doctor here, but since i was worried about the symptoms and visited the doctor,

all XXXXXXX people here have family doctors in XXXXXXX who they contact for any cases, but i dont have any family doctor, even since last 1 month most of the hospital (the hospital operated by foreigners) is closed or operating with fear due to Ebola threat and any XXXXXXX will try to avoid to go to hospital because of Ebola virus,

but going ahead, what should i do now...i took 1 tablet yesterday nigh before food with penadol,

Please guide me ...
