Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. To help you better please tell me-
1.Is a single joint involved or multiple and what are the associated symptoms?
2.Any blood investigation done like complete blood count,ESR,Serum RA factor,Anti CCP antibody?
We need to find the cause of your joint pain.Meanwhile you may have ibuprofen to relieve pain.Looking forward to your reply.

Brief Answer:
Prednisolone alone is not sufficient

Detailed Answer:
Hi
It's good to see you
The most likely cause of multiple joint pain is rheumatoid arthritis. This needs to be confirmed by blood test as discussed earlier along with physical examination. The usual drug given in rheumatoid arthritis are methotrexate, sulfsalazine and HCQS. Prednisolone alone is not sufficient.
My advice would be visit a rheumatologist/physician for evaluation and treatment .
Hope this information suffices.
Take care

Brief Answer:
Needs further observation

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I am happy that the suggested blood test for rheumatoid arthritis are negative. But with multiple joint pain,it needs further evaluation and observation to find the cause. Hence,it's a must to visit a Rheumatologist.
Taking Prednisolone alone has serious side effects in the long run.It only gives symptomatic relief without affecting the basic cause.
For now you may have Ibuprofen along with omeperazole to take care of pain and stomach.
Hope this helps.
Take care
