Does Naproxen Reduce Blood ESR?
I am a 41year old Male (5 7 , 13.5stone), and was precribed anti-inflammatory tablets for a strained muscle in the base of my back. After 6 weeks of taking the anti-inflammatories i was sent for a Blood Test which came back normal apart from E.S.R. which i was told was slightly elevated at 17mm/h , my question is this : having taken so much Naproxen over a 6 week period could they have resulted in lowering the ESR and in fact my actual ESR should have shown up higher? Thanks in advance for your advice
