Question: My son had a rash that started on his elbow. Red skin and raised bumps. It has spread to isolated spots, like under his arm pit. These bumps look more like little blisters. He said he also has it on his inner thighs. He has also had a bad sore throat for a few days. He is 17.

Brief Answer:
Hypersensitivity reaction

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. I have checked the attached image.

I would need to ask how long the rashes have been there and whether they are itchy. The rashes are likely to be due to antibody mediated hypersensitivity. Give him antiallergic like cetirizine for a day. Apply some emollient like Calamine lotion topically. You may also apply aloe vera lotion. It would be a good idea to take him to urgent care.

You would have to be patient.

Regards
