What Does Blood Sugar And Lipid Profile Test Results Indicate?

Dear doctor Kindly go thorugh my blood suger & Lipid profile and suggest me whether @ present any treatment required or not.



Fasting Blood sugar - 107 mg/dl

Total Cholesterol - 206 mg/dl

HDL Cholesterol - 46 mg/dl

LDL Cholesterol - 151 mg/dl

VLDL Cholesterol - 12 mg/dl

Triglycerides - 59 mgl

Thanks for writing in.

Your blood test results show the following:

Fasting Blood sugar - 107 mg/dl (normal up to 100 mg/ dl)

Total Cholesterol - 206 mg/dl (normal below 200 but 206 is acceptable)

HDL Cholesterol - 46 mg/dl (normal)

LDL Cholesterol - 151 mg/dl (borderline high)

VLDL Cholesterol - 12 mg/dl (normal)

Triglycerides - 59 mgl (normal)

Your tests are almost in normal range and no treatment is needed. However a cardiac clinical check up may be done if desired.
