What Causes Sore Throat, Headache And Cough?

I started having a sore throat yesterday morning, just figured it was because I had went out the night before. But now my throat is sore, I have a headache, I feel like I am coughing my lungs up. and I have been having small chest pains on the left and right side of my chest. Just figureing that is probably from coughing. What coulf this be? Allergies, cold? or what?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of an upper airway infection. Considering the Covid pandemic, I would recommend checking for this virus and performing some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR) and a lung X-ray study. Starting antibiotics may be needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
