Hi,

A viral infection while having celiac disease, it is important to consult with your healthcare professional for specific recommendations. Generally, the treatment for viral infections focuses on supportive care, such as getting plenty of rest, staying hydrated, and relieving symptoms like fever and pain.

Medications like paracetamol may be suitable for managing symptoms, but it's essential to ensure they are gluten-free and do not contain any ingredients that could trigger a reaction in individuals with celiac disease.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Umer Farooq, General & Family Physician
