What Causes Delay In Periods And Lump In The Breast?
Hello, I have been on Junel 28 birth control for 5 months. As a result I have a lump in my right breast and haven t had my period yet. I never missed a pill and visited my doctor. I told her to not to change my brand of birth control cause I was previously on Ortho-tricycle and had no problem. She is my new physician. She had me get a mammogram and ultrasound. I have to go to a breast surgeon for a biopsy. I would like to if my period will return and will my hormones get balanced?

Ovarian cyst, Hormonal imbalance, eating disorder, excess anxiety issue, obesity, thyroid disorder et cetera can lead delayed period apart from pregnancy.
So, step by step evaluation can be done for that like USG pelvis scan, serum FSH, LH, prolactin investigation et cetera.
For breast lump, biopsy can be done to rule out whether lump is malignant or benign and to reach up to diagnosis.
