Vaginal Itching, Itchy Spots Under Breasts, Fungi Under Fingernails, Fatigue. Temporary Help From Benedryl. Suggest

I am 50 with vaginal itching and anal itching and huge itchy spots under my breasts and recently fungi under my finger nails. Something is itching all the time. Benedryl temporarily helps but makes me extremely drowsy. I have fatigue all the time. Wondering if the good bacteria in my body is out of whack and what should I do?

Hi. You seem to be having an extensive fungal infection of your skin and skin appendages. A skin scraping/ nail scraping for fungal staining would give a diagnosis. Once fungal infection is diagnosed you may be adviced an antifungal like terbinafine for the next 6 months in view of finger nail infection. Check for predisposing factors like diabetes, hiv too. Thank you.
