Hi Thanks for using HCM.

I want few more information on your management. 1. Is your prolactin level has problem. 2. Was there any investigations done for non lactation.

The irregular periods may be due to variation in hormone levels which usually fluctuates post delivery or due to illness, anxiety or anaemia. So I advice you to wait for atleast 1 week time and then go for pregnancy test. If negative then need further evaluation using USG abdomen and pelvis, prolactin and TSH levels & Complete hemogram.

Hope I answered your question. Consult your doctor for further examination and management. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Hi, the reason for amenorrhea, might be anemia, defeciency of proteins, harmones, etc. i advise you to take the test after few days, and if negative you can go for blood test of Human chorianic gonadotrophin, or ultrasound, to confirm, or exclude pregnancy. Thank you.
