Treated For Chlamydia. Bump On Labia Majora. Painful, Itchy When Touched. What Could This Be?

last year,i was treated for chlamydia.. soon after,i found a pea sized bump on the bottom of my labia majora.i ignored it & it eventually went away.but a few days ago, another pea sized single red bump came back in the same spot.it looked like a spider bite/pimple so i popped it.it has scabbed over & is only painful when i touch it now,but it still itches.. what could this be ? please help me.

Hi,

Welcome to HCM.

Two possibilities are there.
1. Bartholin's cyst it is not painful, Bartholin's abscess if it is painful.
2. Hair folliculitis or a furuncle

A careful examination by an experienced Gynecologist or a Dermato-venereologist will reveal the exact diagnosis. With chlamydial infection Bartholin's abscess is common.
Get well soon.

Hi and welcome to HCM.
This can be STD ,but also it sounds to me like it could be clogged and inflammted gland which is common. If there is no vaginal discharge then you shouldnt be worried. If symptoms persist you should also do vaginal swab to see the exact microbe which causes it and then it can be treated on right way.But if this heals spontaneously you dont need specific treatment. Just keep genital area clean and dry and dont wera clothes that provoke sweating. Wish you good health
