yes I just seen a doctor today and was diagnosed with folliculitis of the scrotum, he basically said there was nothing he could do for me, he prescribed me Erythrocin 500 mg and said he doubt it would work, is there really nothing I can do to treat and get rid of this problem?

Can a women get bacteria vaginosis from a man having folliculitis? I have been getting a bacteria infection everytime we have unprotected sex for about a year now. He has folliculitis and its in the pubic area and on his penis.

I have tons upon tons of huge white bumps on my scalp , I believe it is folliculitis but two rounds of anti biotics one for 7 days and then half a year later 10 days and both times it has come back this most recent time it happened my head exploded with these large white bumps and its extremely soar at the moment, what do i do? is it curable?

Hello.If it is painful,it sure is folliculitis.Recurrent folliculitis require antibiotics on long term basis,almost 1-3 months.Topical shampoos and antibacterial creams will take care of local infection.Check for diabetes and immunodeficiency.

Hi a little over a month ago I started to to get a few bumps on my ball sack and it itched bad mostly at night before I go to bed it went on for a few weeks and couldn't stand it went to the doc he said it was folliculitis he gave me antibiotics and went away but now I'm starting to think its something else I'm getting the same symptoms

Boils and sebaceous cysts are common in that area. Shaving can cause folliculitis if not taken care. Sebaceous cyst can get infected and mimic like boils. So, please visit a dermatologist for examination and further management. All the best.

I have a weird case of keratosis pilaris which the dermatologist diagnosed it as but the treatment he gave me isn't working and it looks more like folliculitis. will tanning help calm it down? im on oral and topical treatments and I still wake up with it even worse.

Hi..I m 24 year old female..I had been suffering from numerous boils/folliculitis that used to emerge on the surface of my skin..especially the leg area.Worst part is that these boils left some really really ugly scars over my body.SECONDLY i I have this unwanted facial hair problem and i got one boil on the little ryt area of my neck under my jawline..which though got cured as i had consulted a doctor n he provided me with some anti biotics buh unfortunately, it formed a lump of dead skin which is quite apparant and is indeed realli realli ugly.
