Suggest Treatment For Chronic Sinusitis And Deviated Septum

I was diagnosed with chronic sinusitus and a deviated sceptum after a CT scan and endoscopy in 2006. I am suffering more than ever today after using cortisone nasal sprays, antihistamines, etc. I have a cd of the actual CT scan. Is it any use today after 5 years? I have no health insurance today. How do I best proceed? I live in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Thank you. William Jackson th

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to deviated nasal septum.

For sinusitis you can take tablet levocetrizine. Take steam inhalation twice a day.

In case of fever, cough you may require antibiotics, complete hemogram, chest X Ray after consultation.

In case of repeated sinusitis you may require surgical intervention after surgeon consultation

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
