Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

The point is that your investigation shows sinusitis. The common cold you used to have have managed to infect the sinuses. The sinuses are air spaces in the skull that give the nose their timber and make the skull lighter.

The infection of these sinuses keeps one in a constant state of headache and eye pain. These are two of the typical symptoms of sinusitis.

Sinusitis is not easy to treat, because there is no specific medicine that can be givem. You need to take steam inhalation 4 times a day, and warm saline gargles 4 times a day. Keep at it regularly. In fact that is where we get problem. As soon as one gets a little relief, one stops and gets to the same level of headache again.

So please persist with the treatment.
Also, you dont need ct scan. You can monitor the effect with simple x ray of the sinuses.

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.

Please do understand that some details could be extracted from a detailed history and examination.

Please feel free to ask another query. I would be glad to help you. Looking forward to your return query with the details asked so that I can help you further.
(If the answer has helped you, please indicate this)
Best of luck.
