Suggest Medication For Lichen Scholorosis

My daughter was diagnosed with Lichen Scholorosis and she is only 28 years old. her Labia outer and inner have been fused together and it is covering the hood of her clitoris. With medication, with that go back to normal? Will she be able to have a clitoral orgasm?

OBGYN 's  Response
Lichen sclerosis is an autoimmune disease, and can have a range of manifestations. Your daughter's case sounds quite involved. I hope she is not uncomfortable. Sometimes this can respond to topical medications, a combination of hormones, anti inflammatory steroids and sometimes treatments used for eczema. Rarely surgery is needed.
I hope she responds to treatment and some of the changes she has may reverse.
Sexual response is highly individual. Lichen Sclerosis doesn't impact the nervous system. Her sensitivity may change because of changes of the skin or binding down of the clitoris, but on the other hand, everything may function quite well and normally. There isn't a more precise answer, sorry. I hope she does well.
