Pap Smear Test Showing Squamous Lesion On The Cervix. History Of Fibroids And Polyps In Uterus. Bloating, indigestion And Back Pain

Hello. I just had an abnormal pap smear come back. It said that I have sqamous lesion on my cervix. I have a history of fibroid tumors and polyp on my uterus. (They were removed two years ago) For the past two months, I have been bloated. (Cannot wear my clothes) I look pregnant and actually thought that I was pregnant. I had one Depo shot and stopped taking it in January. I blamed my symptoms on Depo withdrawal. This was before the abnormal pap. They have not checked my ovaries or done blood work. I'm concerned about my ovaries due to the bloating, gas, indigestion, SEVERE backache that will not go away. I am in so much pain that I am using a heating pad and soaking in a hot bath with epsom salt. I'm am scheduled to have a colposcopy done in June but that is two months away. I have no insurance so this doctor is the only doctor that will do it free of charge. I don't know if I can handle the pain until then. Starting two days I ago, I have been do dizzy and faint. All I want to do is sleep. I'm afraid to drive at times because of the dizziness. Do you think that it is due to the lesion on my cervix or could it possibly be my ovaries also? Thank you so much in advance! I'm at a loss.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

As per history you had fibroids and polyp in uterus which were removed two years back.

Presently you have this discomfort and sense of bloating.
Also pap smear done recently shows squamous lesion..

I would suggest that you take an ultrasound scan of abdomen. The details of abdominal organs, uterus and ovaries will be clear.
I would like you to send in pap smear report details too.
You have not mentioned any thing about irregular periods and abnormal bleeding.
Your back pain could be due to pelvic inflammatory disease and the ultrasound scan and colposcopy will confirm if its present.

Hope this helps.
