Thanks for posting your query.

From the information you have provided,

What you are experiencing is called as inter menstrual bleeding.
Having cervical mucus in bleeding is not abnormal. When bleeding is minimal, it can appear as though its found after you urinate.

The commonest reason is ovulation related spotting.

It can also be due to a uterine problem like polyp or fibroid .
Its not related to ovarian cyst.

Taking a scan & checking your thyroid and prolactin levels will help us find out the cause. Once we know the cause , we can treat you accordingly.
If you haven't had a pap smear , its time to do one.

All the best, Hope I have explained adequately!
Please, do not hesitate to contact me for further queries.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Irregular periods needs to be evaluated. It could be from cervical problems.
Consult gynecologist for pelvic examination.
Need to get ultrasound abdomen, PAP smear of cervix, speculum examination of cervix.

Hope this answered your question. Consult your doctor for further management.
Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries or doubts and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Hi dear,
you ave not mentioned about the symptoms on the basis of which your doctor has suspected ovarian cyst.
Also, large ovarian cysts cannot be missed on pysical examination. The smaller ones are usually benign and harmless.
The intermenstrual bleed which you are experiencing needs to be evaluated by a clinical examination by a gynecologist including a Pap smear examination and USG for endometrial polyp
