Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain sudden swelling of eye or lip on getting up in the morning seems to be due to allergic reaction only and can be due to some insect or bug bite and you need not to worry about it..
It can also be due to allergy to some food product and you should recall if the swelling occured after eating a common thing both times.
She can take Cetrizine or Fexofenadine [allegra for relief from swelling].
Cold compresses over the lips and eye can also help..

For tonsillitis antibiotics like Azithromycin 500 mg once a day for 5 days, Ibuprofen 400 mg thrice a day and doing warm saline gargles will help..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
