Jonathan is on antibiotics, been giving him Panadol every 4 hrs & nurofen every 8 hrs. He's ok just temp up & down, been keeping his fluids up. I was diagnosed with having tonsillitis or a bad upper respiratory infection, as my test for Strep was negative. Previous to this, I discovered that my sink was leaking pretty badly and there was black mold underneath that had accumulated on one side of the sink and the sides. I sprayed with disinfectant and cleaned. Tonight, I moved a bucket and there was a good amount of black mold that had accumulated under that, as well. I have never had tonsil problems. Could this have contributed to me getting sick so suddenly?

So, don't you worry.
Your tonsillitis will be treated by...

I have it frequently, I was on Penicillin for it, but they changed me onto Erythromycin which are starting to work today as it s not as painful to swallow as it was. I still can t really open my mouth and it is very painful to eat. Is this normal? im 15 years old.

I was just recently in the hospital and they diagnosed me with tonsillitis that got into my blood causing my white blood cell count to raise to 22. They also found a heart murmur at this time. Lately I have been feeling like a flutter feeling or racing heart beats. I feel anxious almost but it s very uncomfortable should I be looking to see a doctor?
Hi, welcome for your query

The function of tonsils that are situated on either side of your throat walls above and posterior to the tongue is to trap and kill the infective agents and thereby protecting the lower air and food passages.
