Left Side Of Neck Hurts Under, Below My Jaw. Pain Is Deep In Tissue, Vague. Infected Gland. Treatment?

The left side of my neck hurts under and below my jaw. It seems like I might have an infected gland. The pain is not associated with my throat, tongue, teeth, swallowing or chewing. It seems to be deep in the tissue and vague in location. I am feeling swelling or swollen areas. HELP! Just a mild discomfort that will not go away. I am a 40 year old male in good health.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having enlarge infected lymph glands in your left lower neck.
This indicates that you might be having some infection in left ear or on scalp like dandruff, fungal infection or ingrown hair follicle infection.
Consult your doctor and get examined physically.
Ok and take care.
