Itchiness In The Labia Minora. What Causes This Itchiness ?

My name is Cindy and i am a healthy 19 year old. For two months now i have been having a problem in my labia minora . It has been itching constantly on the left side and rarely on the right and i have not been sexually active for 9 months now. This itchiness happens mostly when i wash my vaginal area or when i wipe my self when i finish using the toilet. I have done many research but yet it does not help my problems at all. I would like to know what causes this itchiness and what can i do to stop the itchiness.Thank you!!

Hello.
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic forum.
If there is only itchiness without any discharge or pain then the most likely cause is allergy. To get a relief, you need to keep the area clean- wash with soap and water twice daily. Use a local antifungal and steroid ointment at least twice daily for relief.

Thank you for your help i can honestly say the itchiness has eased down but recently i have been paying close attention to my discharge lately and i don't know if i am seeing clearly but i do spot a little yellowish in my discharge. It usually comes and it goes and I am starting to get a little intimidated because i feel that maybe something is wrong with me. I am starting to think maybe the itchiness in my labia minora has something to do with it. Do you have any solution to what this maybe? I am not sure but i think it might be yeast infection of some sort but not 100% sure
