What Could Be The Reason For Burning Just Below The Clitoris?

I have noticed today that I have a red burning/stinging area just below my clitoris, just in between the labia minora, at the top. It DOESN'T hurt to walk or pee, just to apply pressure, and is a little uncomfortable when touching the clitoris. When I examined the area there was some white discharge right on top of the area, which ISN'T thick and heavy - its a medium consistency. The area isn't itchy either, its only burning/stinging to touch. I haven't had sex before, but last weekend I had oral sex performed on me by my boyfriend and I also was fingered/rubbed. I only noticed the change/discomfort five days after this. I am only sixteen and I don't want to see a doctor in person. Can you help tell me what this might be and how to treat it? I am seeing my boyfriend again next weekend and I am hoping for it to have passed by then. Please help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms you are experiencing could be due to yeast infection. Apply Clotrimazole ointment to the affected area. If symptoms do not improve in 2 days follow up with your OBGYN.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
