OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for consulting us.
The next line of action that your GP may take depends upon the location of Mirena coil. If it is still inside the uterine cavity it may still be doing its job. If it has entered the uterine wall or abdominal cavity then this may cause complications.
Your doctor will most likely refer you to a Gynecologist & the doctor will try to remove it vaginally. Sometimes, in complicated cases, Hysteroscopy or may be Laparoscopy is required.
Wish you good health.
Take care.
