Hello Universehelper,
I have read your question.

Ur symptoms are of 5 weeks.
Temple headache on moving.
blocked nose.
Cough with yellowish Sputum(mucus)
Left side chest pain.

U got probably " A Sinus Infection " which may have spread to lung with probable signs of Lower respiratory tract infection. U have to consult Chest Physician Or E.N.T specialist for Symptoms that still worsening.

U can do local remedies to control It.
- Steam inhalations solution is beneficial.
- Drink Hot Tea/Coffee/Soup frequently 3-4 times
- Avoid Cold drinks even drink normal temperature water
- Quit Smoking if U have habit
- Avoid Dust,pollens
- Put Hand on nose and mouth during coughing/sneezing to prevent spread of infection to other.

Do consult above Specialists if required & ask for proper antibiotics.

Hello and welcome to HCM
1. Decrease in sense of smelling indicates a blocked nose or stuffy nose. Common causes of stuffy nose are infections- influenza or common cold or sinusities, allergies affecting nasal cavity, nasal polyps and nasal septum.
2. Cough associated with yellow colored sputum indicates a pyogenic/ bacterial infection of respiratory tract.
3. Chest pain (on left side) associated with cough and sputum indicates a chest or lower respiratory tract infection.
4. Feeling tired and dehydrated indicates a high metabolic rate most probably associated with infection (chest infection). Altered appetite also indicates the same.

You need certain investigations- X-ray chest and sputum routine examination and culture.
Consult your doctor and the relevant investigations for proper treatment.

Thanks and take care
