Hello friend.
Diagnosis for your condition, according to your symptoms is viral phyringitis.
The condition is usually self limiting but you will require support of antibiotic, analgesic, salt water gargle and proper rest.

Hi Sharmeen,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum
The description given by you seems to be of viral infection. You need to take symptomatic medicines (such as paracetamol, povidone iodine throat gargles), drink plenty of warm water and take bed rest for a couple of days. If the symptoms do not improve contact your ENT specialist or your physician for further investigations and management.

Regards
Dr. Naveen Kumar

General & Family Physician Dr. Tulasi Raman.P's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for your query...

Your symptoms: throat infection, fever, muscular pain & headache all point towards common cold.

If you have running nose/blocked nose, sneezing etc... it further confirms common cold.

Regarding your query towards malaria:
Do you have fever, shivering, sweating in this order episodically... If this is the case... It may be malaria... It many require blood test to confirm it...

But your history strongly points towards common cold...

Consult your doctor... He may prescribe you some analgesics, anti-histamines & if required antibiotics...

I hope this answers you query... If you have any follow up queries, i can answer them too...

Wish you a speedy recovery...

Thank You,

Yours,
Dr.Tulasi Raman.P
