Have cyst on scrotum, no pain. Is there any home remedies that I can do myself?

I have a cyst on my scrotum it doesent hurt but its just embarrassing. Ive had 1 b4 and I got it lanced by a doctor. The problem is I do not have medical insurance anymore and really the whole procedure b4 was horrible for me. I dont want to go through that again. I also remember having to pay to get the cyst tested for cancer after it was removed and I dont want to have to pay for that again because I get cysts all the time and im pretty sure its not cancer. My question is is there any home remedies that I can do myself? Ive Read that goldenseal tincture can help is this true? I just want this thing gone because its kinda big... please help

Masses or cysts on the scrotum ,can be several different things , most of which are benign and harmless.
Among these possible causes are Sebaceous cysts, a Hydrocele which is fluid filled ,a Hematocele , which is blood filled , Spermatocele or Epididymal cyst , Vericocele , an Enlarged vein or Testicular cancer.
Physicial examination should be able to diagnose which of these you may have.
In few individuals those who work in hot temperatures, there may be chances of formation of sebaceous cysts which are multiple in number over scrotum. Usually not harmful but if there is less immunity power and if you are getting any skin complaints like fungal infection, there may be chances of appearances of infection over scrotum.
In Ayurveda, there are certain herbal medicines which are helpful for controlling this type of infections.
1.KAISHORA GUGGLU and AROGYA VARDHINI which are good medicines for your condition
2.Take KHADIRARISHTAM twice daily.
3.Wear cotton comforts like underwear which is very helpful.

Cardiologist Dr. Anantharamakrishnan's  Response
Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

There are several of them - the most common is sebaceous cyst.
If the previous one was benign, the chances are similar - but no one can be sure...
It is not likely to be influenced by any treatment except surgery.
Keep clean and avoid infection
If it becomes big suddenly, or painful or red - there is no alternative to seeing the surgeon

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck

Ayurveda Specialist Dr. Munish Sood's  Response
1. Is the cyst felt or seen? during Physical or Self Examination??
2. any associated swelling(lump) or heaviness?
3. As suggested by you there is no pain, it means the cyst is not pressing against any nerve tissue, so what about TENDERNESS (Pain on pressure)?
4. Painless cyst on scrotum could result from sebaceous cysts, when their mouth gets blocked or due to swollen hair follicle, Excessive testosterone production is also implicated as one of the cause, are other conditions like hydrocele, hernia, spermatocele been ruled out previously and presently?
5. As told by you that previous tumor marker for the cyst was negative and moreover you don't have health insurance anymore, these types of cyst i.e. sebaceous cyst (unless proved otherwise) are common, non cancerous and treatment is usually/will be required only for cosmetic reasons in exposed area, or when/if cyst gets swollen and infected.
6. It will be difficult to make an exact diagnosis without Examination, consult with your health care provider.
7. Maintain proper hygiene by keeping cyst and surrounding area clean, apart from golden seal oil you can also opt for tea tree oil,as both of them are known for their antiseptic properties, along with diet rich in Vit. A,B and Zinc.
8. Don't attempt to squeeze the cyst, which may/can cause infection of the surrounding area.
9. If home treatment is ineffective, consult with your physician.
