Hi,thanks for query.Heart attack or brain stroke is normally a result of atheroscelorosis along with other factors like hypertension, diabetes etc.Your lipid profile is not normal but still only report can not be treated. Please visit your doctor and get your self properly examined and improve your life style to avoid risk of any disease in future. If you are in asian this is common to have low hdl and high ldl. This makes asians more prone to this disease.
wishing you good health.

My husband had a massive stroke 18 mths ago, lost his right side and speech. We have been told that where he was at 6 mths is probably where he will stay. Also what are his chances of suffering another stroke.? He is 72 yrs old, doesn t walk and speech is very poor. I try to understand him but its so hard..People have told me I shouldn t try to care for him, but rather put him in a nursing home. Am I killing myself?

My cousin is only 49, and has recently suffered a stroke...his Mother also died very young of a heart attack , it does run on his maternal side, however my Uncle also died of heart complications, do you think that you are predisposed to suffer this horrible medical problems if they run in your family? Also I would want to know about any of your personal experiences. Thank you!
