Hi. I did IUI on 8 and 9th July of this year. I am 41 years old an this is my third attempt. I and my doctors were quite positive that this time i will concieve beacuse of very prominent folicles. My due date for periods was 27th July. I did home pregnancy test on 24th which was -ve. My periods did not start on 27th instead, yelowish redish spotting started on 29th. Along with that i experinced slight pain in my lower abdomin. I waited for my periods till 3rd August and then i went my doctor. She advised me to give her beta HCG test, which i did, but it was -ve. She asked me to wait for few days more and then visit her. I consulted her again on 7th. She did ultrasound and told me that she finds nothing except a cyst in my left ovary (this cyst was existing before i did IUI).She advised me to take Duphaston 10 mg twise a day for one week, which i started yesterday. But i am still getting spotting (their color is now blackish red). These spots are very few per day but they are continous after 29th till now. I am unable to understand this. Should i continue Duphaston?please advise me in the light of my situation.
