Hi,
Noted your history related to inability to open the mouth fully, repeated
tonsillitis, black strands with mucus and so on.
All your history is suggestive of a condition called peri-tonsillitis and should be cared by a Doctor.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your ENT again.
If peri-tonsillitis is confirmed then you need to continue the antibiotics,
metronidazole, anti-inflammatory and gargle.
Once the
abscess is ripe your Doctor will open it.
Complete the curse.
And this is one of the indications of
tonsillectomy later once the disease is under control for better output after surgery.
This may be after 6 weeks or so.
