Brief Answer:
Need hormonal assessment also.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
PCOD is a condition where in numerous small fluid filled cysts will be located along the edge of each ovary, which affects release of Egg (Ovulation) causing difficulty in getting Pregnant. Also hormonal tests of FSH, LH, Estrogen, Progesterone, Androstenedione, Thyroid hormones are needed. You need to lose weight with diet control and exercise for ovulation to happen. Since there is no ovulation with 200mg clomiphne you need to consult an infertility specialist for a detailed evaluation.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
For a height of 5', your weight should be 100-110 lbs. After taking clomid you should start testing for ovulation from day 12 of the period and keep on testing every alternate day till you get a positive test or till day 22. You can also get ovulation studies done to find out about ovulation. Since you have a cycle of around 35 days the ovulation should happen near day 20. Clomid works best if started from day 2 of periods. Do consult your gynecologist regarding proper dosage and schedule.
It is best to get a fresh ultrasound scan done to know the status. Increasing the dose of clomid without proper investigations can cause large cysts to form.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Brief Answer:
It can cause hyperstimulation of ovaries.

Detailed Answer:
Yes. Large cysts do form due to hyperstimulation of ovaries. It is better to get the hormonal tests done and ovulation studies to find out about ovulation. You are not able to predict the exact timing of ovulation. The periods are almost regular. Do get ovulation study done in this cycle from day 10 to find out.

Brief Answer:
Congrats on getting a positive test.

Detailed Answer:
It can be due to both the reasons. Clomid causes an ovulation. If you get a positive ovulation test without taking clomid then it suggests that your hormonal imbalance and cysts have improved.'
