Brief Answer:
Hello dear. Some investigations are required

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. Welcome to HCM.
I would like to tell you a few things by this report.
you have a slightly higher MCV. This is the reason for macro ovalocytosis.
Your red cell width is also high.
Both these conditions can be seen in liver diseases. As you have already said you are having jaundice, you require investigations for the cause of jaundice like viral jaundice, drug induced, alcohol induced, auto immmune etc.
Please visit a good physician for the evaluation of the causes i have mentioned.
Revert back with reports
thanks and regards

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. It again points towards some liver disease.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.

I have gone through the reports.
Uric acid and TGL levels are borderline raised. Also there is derangement in the liver enzymes. This picture along with the macrocytosis picture points towards some kind of liver disease(likely alcoholic) which require investigations.
Please visit a good physician or a hepatologist for the tests which i have mentioned earlier.

Thanks and regards

Answered by Dr. Deepak Sundriyal (1 hour later)
Brief Answer:
Hello dear. Scan is not going to help

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
Scan offers little help in the evaluation of jaundice if the cause is suspected in the liver. It only tells that the liver is affected. After sometime, it becomes normal. Your scan is normal except for fatty changes which can be seen in normal individuals also.
hence it is necessary to do the test which i have mentioned already to evaluate the cause of jaundice.
Thanks and regards

Brief Answer:
Hello. Reports are normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. Welcome again.

The hepatitis panel report is normal. only thing which is abnormal is the liver enzymes but that too are only mildly deranged.
So , if the hepatitis panel is normal and if you do not consume alcohol then it can be due to a viral infection(trivial which went unnoticed) which was not at all harmful. So no need to do anything further.
If you consume alcohol, then cut down your consumption.
You can get your liver function test repeat after 3 weeks. if it shows again some abnormality, then we can plan further course of action.
Till that rest assured, no need to worry. If you have further queries you can ask me after 29th of April, as i will be busy with some work.

Thanks and regards
