What Does CRP-10.1,ALT-47 And ESR-41 Indicate?

Hi, I am a 43 yo female with CRP of 10.1, ALT of 47, ESR 41 . I have had abdominal pain with right sided tenderness, bloating, nausea, dizziness, back pain and tightness and fatigue that has recently worsened. Last year liver enzymes in 200 s and told had viral hepatitis and another hpylori(treated). Went to MD on MOnday for primary stomach, but side note asked him to check sinus, he said had sinus infection, said had to deal with stomach issues. He put me on zpack. My white count is at 8 normal, but also been on antibiotic for sinus. Friday my doctor say go see Rheumatology, really? for abdominal pain? Concerned as I typically wait to long to see a doctor, but pain is affecting my ability to function and concentrate. Suggestions.

Hello,

You are suffering from abdominal pain with right sided tenderness, nausea, dizziness, backpain, tightness, fatigue. You have history of elevated liver enzymes and viral hepatitis. You have CRP test report showing 10.1 which is marked elevation and may be indicative of acute bacterial or viral infections, IBS or liver dysfunction as you have a history of it.

Your report for ALT is 47. Normal ALT level ranges between 36U/L [7 to 55 units per liter (U/L). You are suggested to get Liver function tests done to detect any liver dysfunction. Since your ESR is 41, it can be considered markedly elevated. It is indicative of health ailments. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get all required blood tests and imaging tests done.

Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected. In the meantime, Take antacids or PPIs, one stat when required for relieve from pain and bloating. Take boiled food, avoid red meat, trans fat, full fat dairy products, refined flour, do not take oily, fatty junk food.

This will be helpful for your heart and liver health. You can take digestives and liver tonics. Stay away from addictions, smoking, drugs, alcohol, etc. Do regular exercises and maintain healthy weight, avoid being obese and avoid sedentary lifestyle.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
